Alvin Anders
Hank Williams
When Alvin was a boy he recalled falling asleep to an old record his mother had. On one side was "I'm so lonesome I could cry," and on the other side was "Honky tonk blues." He was entranced by the bluesy cry that was "Hank Williams." Alvis was 13 when he learned to play the guitar from an old man that used to play on his porch down the street. Since then he's been playing and singing old country, particularly "Hank Williams Sr.," which always seemed like a hit with a lot of folks. Hank William Sr.'s story was one of success, failure, love and loss. That's why it's so important to Alvin to keep the legend alive, and to give folks the most realistic experience of "Hank Williams Sr." possible!
